26th is the last day of the CP+ exhibition in Japan.
Around 9:00, a photographer in yellow came to the booth. From his appearance, it could be seen that he had spent a long time outdoors and was tanned. He stayed and watched for a long time.
After finishing the introduction for another guest, I immediately went up to greet him. He waved his hand at me, pointed to his ear and gestured, and I guessed he was a deaf-mute. Sure enough, he was in a tough spot that couldn't speak or hear.
Silent Communication
The general manager, Tang Wenming, also noticed the photographer. He came over and gestured, and introduced it through the use of the product. The body language used was universal.
At the remote camera box, Mr.Tang first showed his palm to the photographer and pointed to it. Then his hand was across the infrared camera, and the clatter of the shutter sounded inside the box.
The photographer was very surprised and didn't know why the camera suddenly started taking pictures. Mr. Tang pointed at the infrared camera and digital camera, drew a line in the air with his hand, and made a flowing motion.
The photographer immediately understood and his face lit up with a brilliant smile. He gave us a thumbs up.
Then Mr.Tang showed him the Adjustable Car Camera Stabilizer. He turned the hand-cranked reel. The digital camera rose from the bottom and then descended. Suddenly, the photographer left, and we didn't know what happened.
But soon we saw him back with his friend. He pointed at the Adjustable Car Camera Stabilizer and gestured with his hands excitedly. It turned out that this photographer was also deaf and mute like him.
There is a tiny four-wheeled vehicle next to the Car Camera Stabilizer.
He was pointing at the Adjustable camera dolly, seemingly asking me what it was.
He can't speak, how can I introduce the product to him?" This problem did not stump me. I played the video of the adjustable camera dolly to show him. Then, I mimicked the shooting action by crawling and advancing, and he immediately understood.
The photographer pulled the tow rope of the dolly, dragging it forward and backward. Then he crouched down and crawled on the ground, and held the camera to take pictures. Finally, he knelt down and pushed the elevating photography car to move forward and backward.
After that, he took out his phone and started taking pictures. Then he wrote something on the screen of his phone and showed it to me.
The translation app showed in Chinese "I really like wildlife photography, and I really like your products" and then he gave me a big thumbs up.
I could see the sincerity in his eyes, and even a hint of tears. I didn't take a picture of the sentence in his phone, but it's deeply imprinted in my mind. It made me feel proud and euphoric about the value of my work. I won't forget that sentence.
Thumb up was the most frequent gesture he made during our communication today, and it brought us the most happy. Seeing his satisfied smile was undoubtedly our biggest reward.
Unfortunately, we did not see him again before the end of the exhibition. We really wanted to give him the adjustable camera dolly that he liked so much.
“Hi Mr., if you happen to see our article, please contact us.”
Thank you for your appreciation, and thank you for your brilliant smile. This is the best motivation for us to continue working hard!
